Mountaineering Association TARA (Planinarski klub Tara), Serbia
PK TARA (MAT) is a sport club aims to inspire and empower populations to embrace outdoor activities, fostering a healthy lifestyle, environmental sustainability, and social inclusion.
PK TARA (MAT) promotes mountaineering and outdoor activities as tools for personal development, community building, and environmental stewardship, while ensuring accessibility and inclusivity for all. They are experts in organizing recreational mountaineering activities, particularly hiking, trail running and orienteering.
The club has coordinated and participated in ERASMUS SPORT projects with an emphasis on protection of Mountain areas with the application of sustainable practices such as recycling of existing facilities, use of renewable energy sources, energy efficiency, waste management, cooperation with the management of the protected area. PK TARA (MAT) will complement the project activities with their experience in organising hiking and orienteering activities as well as contributing to the relevant educational project activities.

Nenad is a president of Mountaineering Association of Serbia and former president of Mountaineering Association Tara with broad experience in organization management and project development and implementation. He is founder of MAT. In the previous mandate as a vice-president of the federation he coordinated technical commissions, international relations and projects development and implementation.
He was a municipal councillor responsible for sports and environment 2016-2020 and active member of Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia – Group for Camping, Glamping and Outdoor sports.

He is the Head of the Tourism and Public Relations Department at Tara National Park. He is an IBD (Inflammatory Bowel Disease) athlete, hiker, trail runner, and skyrunning competitor. He has coordinated one Erasmus+ Sport project and served as Partner Coordinator in two Erasmus+ Sport projects, one Cross-Border IPA project, and one Interreg Danube project. He is also the President of the Skyrunning Commission of the Mountaineering Association of Serbia.

Nikola Zivanovic is the founder and Race Director of Tara Ultra Trail, an annual ultra-trail running event held in Western Serbia that attracts more than 500 participants each year. Since 2018, he has also been the founder and Race Director of Tribalion OCR, a biannual obstacle course race in Western Serbia with over 2,500 participants per event. In 2013, he founded the Tara Marathon, an ultra-trail race organized in Tara National Park, while from 2008 to 2012 he served as Director of Tara OPEN, a national orienteering championship in Serbia. He holds a Bachelor of Economics from the Faculty of Economics at the University of Belgrade (1999–2004). Through his extensive experience in organizing large-scale outdoor sporting events, he has developed strong expertise in race management, event coordination, and the promotion of sports and outdoor recreation.

Founder of MA TARA, with experience in clinical studies and European projects. She has contributed as a Partner Assistant and Researcher in an Erasmus+ Sport project and served as a Team Leader in an Erasmus+ Youth Exchange. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, trail running, and traditional folklore dancing.
Tijana Spasojevic

She is a final-year student at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences. She has been a hiker and trail runner since 2020 and is an active scout, having started as a cub and progressed to the role of scout leader in 2017. She currently serves as Coordinator of the "Munje" Scout Troop in Belgrade. She has five years of experience in folklore dancing and was also a member of an amateur drama club. She has been involved in Erasmus+ and UNICEF projects, is a member of the ESTIEM student organization where she has worked with the International and HR teams, and was part of the team representing Serbia at the "I Can" Summit in Dubai.
